My Mom called me and told me to turn on the TV to watch the closing ceremonies for the Olympics in Beijing, I missed the opening ceremony because I was working late that night and she knew I had wanted to see it.

Well all I can say is WOW! What an awesome show! I am floored. It is on right now and I can't belive how cool it is. The lights! The drums! The hundreds and hundreds of people in unison! It is spectacular. Oh look! Jackie Chan! I love that guy!

It makes me more ill that I had a chance to go but didn't! I just had too much work to do here at the studio, and had the California shoot to do or I could have gone to Beijing. Wahhhhh!

Ha ha ha! I will not cry too much. In life you often must do what is important over what is fun! that is the secret to getting a great life.

So I got home from California last night. Had to get up arse early this morning to shoot bluescreen work all day. Then had to edit it all night since I promised my editor he could get off early. So here it is 11pm and I am finally home. But that is fine, becasue Jim loves his work. No, I really do. Even though I haven't had a day off in two weeks, I am still feeling fine. I am taking tomorrow off, but mostly to get my car to the shop, unpack, go to the gym and stuff like that. Even as tired as I am, I still have time to update and post pictures! See? Ha ha ha! I really feel great that I have a company that I love to grow and make into something great. Work to me is play.

Ha! As I was writing the entry above the client in NY called and needed a change to one video. I had to go back to the studio at midnight to make the changes and got home after 1am. But I didn't mind. It was a great night to ride the motorcycle. Not too hot, not to cool.

Leaving out in the very early am Weds to go to Monterey for a shoot. I've only been to California once before and that was only to change planes to go to Tokyo. I never left the airport. This time I am going there as my destination. The Concourse d'Elegance is the largest car show in the US and we are shooting it. There will literally be million dollar cars there. A lot of the cars are luxury and exotic models from the pre-war era and are restored to better than new condition. Fun stuff to film, for sure.

It's really exciting to be practically taking a vacation and getting paid to do it. Most people there will have paid to be there, and here I will have all my expenses paid and get paid for my time as well. It's weeks like this I really love what I do!  I'll post photos when I return.
